About Us

Amanda is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.  She is a life long resident of the state of Missouri,  but has only recently moved to the Lake area with her husband and three beautiful children.  Amanda spends most of her time driving children to various sporting events, practices, and school functions while making sure everyone has snacks.  She also enjoys searching the internet for things she doesn't really need. She is currently working on several children's books about the Lake Bear and is enjoying collaborating on this special project with her Aunt.

Linda began working for Hallmark in 1963.  She is best known for sculpting Christmas ornaments, including the beloved rocking horse series and the tin locomotives.  Linda retired from Hallmark in 2005 and has since continued her artistry in various different mediums.  She has recently been illustrating these children's books at the request of her lovely niece.
